La Catrina

Bio: For millennia the Consejo de Muertos (Council of the Dead) has served as protectors of what they call the Veil, which borders life and death . They are powerful Sorceresses who have learned to walk the line between the living world and the next. Their leader bears the mantle of La Catrina and is the most powerful among them. Anything or anyone who would threaten the Veil, will soon find themselves facing one of the Consejo de Muertos or worse La Catrina herself.

Powers: Powerful sorceress and knowledge of both the living and dead world.

Weapons:

• Gordon the Familiar: A magically animated Pumpkin who contains all the collective knowledge of the Consejo de Muertos and serves as an advisor and companion.

• Sickle of the Raven: The sickle allows the bearer to summon and enlist the aid of Ravens. Ravens serve as natures protectors of the Veil and help carry the dead to the afterlife.

• Scythe of Allhallowtide: An ancient relic and deadly weapon that also allow La Catrina to better focus her magic.

• Shield of the Fallen: A shield strengthened by all those who have fallen in service to the Veil so that the more who fall, the stronger the shield becomes.

• Cape of La Calavera Catrina: A cape made from the spine of the first leader of the Consejo de Muertos and the namesake of all who would come after. It allows the wearer to fly and can aid La Catrina as it has a mind of its own.

Weakness: Despite her powerful magic, she is still mortal and her first duty will always be to the Veil, which means their are times she must weight the cost of helping others with protecting the balance between life and death.
