The Nameless One

Bio: Over the eons, they have been called by many names: Janus, Chronos, Father Time, and even Death. However, none know their true name. An entity as old as time itself, they serve as a steward of existence, ensuring that time continues to move as it should and aids in the transition from one state of being to another for everything in our universe. Their head has two sides; one of a person looking forward to what is to come and the other a skeletal face looking back at what is no more. It is believed that anyone who has claimed to see the ghastly visage of death was actually seeing the Nameless One walking away from them, not knowing how lucky it was they were not walking toward them. They know not from whence they came or where they will one day go. They simply move forward, a force of nature, steward of all things that were or will be.

Powers: Control over time and death, ageless, and undying. The extent of their power is unknown even to them.

Weapons:

• Key of Transition: A key that holds the power over the state of one existence to another, regardless of if that state is life vs death, one place vs another, or the passage of one moment in time to the next. As the holder of this key, they can command life itself back from the beyond and move anywhere they are fated.

• Hourglass of the Eons: The sands of time, every flowing, but in the hands of the Nameless One, even time itself can flow any way they choose.

• Scythe of the Fates: All things in our universe are tied to it by a thread of fate and when the time comes to transition to what comes next, it’s with this weapon that the thread is severed and we move to the beyond.

Weakness: None. Like time itself they are unrelenting, untiring, and without equal. If you see the Nameless One, you have already lost. Your only hope is that they are passing you by on the way to their next stop.
